Beer description
The seasonal Fleur de Montreuil is a wheat beer with elderflower. Around the brewery, in our Murs à Pêches district, elderberry bushes have overgrown the gardens and wasteland. This little-known plant can be used to make delicious juices, syrups and lemonades, but also... beer! The ripe elderflowers, harvested at the end of May, are then freshly added to the fermentation on the basis of a nice wheat beer. Its sour accents and chlorophyll notes meet the refreshing sweetness of the malts (pilsener, wheat, oat) and result in a nice thirst beer. It's brewed in June to be available in the summer and comes back year-round depending on how much elderflower we've collected.
