Beer description
Belgian Ale.
Foam: fine, compact, persistent and adherent, with lace formation.
Colour: almost a ‘monk's habit’. slightly lighter.
Nose: there are notes of caramel, a hint of black cherry, yellow fruit (probably melon), dates and cardamom.
Taste: the caramel notes return, but there is a hint of bitterness that settles in sip after sip.
In fact, the bitterness is persistent and caramel and yellow-fleshed fruit return in the aftertaste.
Glass: low and wide Belgian type.
