Beer description

There was a time in the great game of IPA geopolitics where West Coast IPAs reigned as the lone superpower. They leveraged their bitterness to project piney hop power to all corners of the craft drinking world. But superpowers can fade and get lazy in their dominance. Right under those West Coast noses, the upstart Hazy IPAs leveraged their technical and ideological advancement to rise and create a bipolar world, relegating the West Coast IPA to an unfamiliar place of secondary importance. And while many lay observers rage in debate over whether the bipolar cold war will continue or if either the Hazy or the West Coast can again take control as the predominant empire, astute observers would see an additional rising threat to the dueling IPA powers. The Cold IPA is still young, but is upending the existing IPA order and institutions by being brewed with lager yeast. Borrowing the crispness from ancient lager philosophy, a touch of bitterness from the West Coast world, and the massive dry hopping techniques from the Hazies, the Cold IPA is making a push for a multipolar IPA system. Bräugier is far and away Germany’s most experienced Cold IPA brewer. Inspired by current events in the real world and the IPA world, Multipolar is our latest Cold IPA featuring a heavy dose of Motueka, El Dorado, Simcoe, and Mosaic on the style’s signature light lager body. We don’t think you have to pick sides though, when you can enjoy all three styles.
