Beer description
Bready-Toasty-Chocolatey: Munich Dunkel is defined as a dark, smooth lager full of rich malt character and deep complexity. It falls somewhere in between the more malty Bock and the more roasty Schwarzbier. The water of Munich, Germany has very high minerality, which lends itself to flavor production of darker malts in beer. Geographies with similar water chemistry have seen the rise of other dark beer styles like the Irish Stout and Vienna Lager.
