Malanka - Navaĺnica: pšaničnaje vino z hibiscusam

The first beer in our new Navaĺnica series, dedicated to variations of strong wheat, barley and oat varieties, is a wheatwine. This is a rich beer that is best drunk slowly in small sips. Wheatwines have a velvety texture and expressive grain profile with upfront fruity notes. Our first “Navaĺnica” (“Thunderstorm” in Belarussian) is as strong and dry as possible. Dark amber into ruby , with a thin white foam and fairly high carbonation. The smell and taste of beer reveals wine, caramel and bread tones with hints of bananas and dried fruits. We then added hibiscus to empathise it's fantastic colour and complexity. It enriched the profile with a slight acidity and floral nuances.
