Nibe Bryghus Styrbord

Styrbord is the most complex ale by Nibe Bryghus. The inspiration comes from Scotland, and the goal is to brew a gritty beer, but with a more aromatic taste from the hops and a lesser taste of dark roasted malt. Starboard is brewed with plenty of Munich and caramel malt. A little smoked malt and two types of dark roasted malt create exciting shades of smoke, coffee and chocolate. American Amarillo hops with Northern Brewer taste a balanced bitterness and exciting peaches and citrus fruits. Starboard is suitable for smoked and salted meat and fish dishes.
