Newfoundland & Labrador is as well know for its traditions as for the rugged scenery, friendly folk and unpredictable weather that are part of this place we call home. Sometime around World War II, people along the south coast of Newfoundland began to associate December 23 with the phrase “Tibb's Eve” and deemed it the first night during the Christmas Season when it was appropriate to have a drink. For many Newfoundlanders, this day is the official opening of Christmas, the first chance to drink the Christmas stash.
The nose & taste are a hoppy citrus blend that's smooth and fruity without being bitter. Considering the ABV it's very easy to drink. Very nice. I also like the reference to "Tibb'…
