Beer description
It was Simon Wittmann, founder of the Nordbräu private brewery, who created the recipe for this wheat beer specialty. For years, it remained virtually undiscovered in the archives until the anniversary year of 1993. To mark the 300th anniversary, the old recipe was revived, resulting in the creation of the universally popular '93 Hefeweizen. Its cloudiness and delicate yeast flavor characterize this special beer, which caused a sensation in the anniversary year. Reason enough to add the Hefeweizen, which our customers simply call '93er, to our permanent range. With this export-quality Hefeweizen, you can still enjoy a piece of brewing history today.
