NovaBirra - Big Mama Stout

Pours dark, as a stout should, with big, mocha head. Aroma: lots of chocolate, fine roast, some impressions of whiskey barrels for some reaso, creamy with modest sugar bytaste. Taste a bit thinner, distinctly and tasty hoppy, bitter chocolate, cocoa powder, somewhat metallic, rather thin but with nice astringent roasty finish. The bitter cocoa works well with the hops and keeps it surprisingly interesting despite the lack of creamyness usually associated with a stout and the thin overall impression.
