Beer description

Interest in beer history very often gets us to unusual places. British old ales are those brews that almost disappeared in the days when stouts, porters and, of course, lagers became super popular. And that's exactly what attracted us. We approached the question thoroughly, got acquainted with the historical recipes of old ales and, most interestingly, sourced the same British heritage Chevallier malt that was used by almost every brewery from Foggy Albion in the 19th century. Our Old Ale is dark, porter-like in color, stronger than the usual English bitters, distinctly bitter, biscuity, pleasantly mineral, which brings it closer to the classic Burton IPAs, and certainly very memorable, as for many this variety can turn out to be the first Old Ale in life. Cheers!
