Oltremondo Mareggia

Mareggia is a dark, highly fermented beer; it is not filtered, nor pasteurised and re-fermented in the bottle. Inspired by the 16th-century London porters, our recipe includes toasted lupins from Anterivo (which were used in the Dolomite shelters to make a hot drink, before the advent of coffee). A pleasant and particular final bitterness is added to the typical toasted flavour of dark malt.
