Beer description
The American Pale Ale beer style emerged on the American West Coast in the early 1980s. The style is characterised by clear aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and coniferous trees with a present to noticeable bitterness. Grim APA is brewed using only Swedish pilsner malt and a small amount of carapils. The beer is dry hopped with equal parts Citra and Equanot. It gives a bright and fresh beer with a breeze of lemon and pineapple. An all-round beer with character that goes just as well with the hamburger as the white fish with white wine sauce.
Hops
Citra, Ekuanot - HBC 366 dual hop
