Superstition - Oracle Cat’s Claw

Sourced from Copa Bees, this honey originated from Cat’s Claw patches growing on the side of Mt. Lemmon near the town of Oracle, AZ. Cat’s Claw is an unforgiving shrubbery, but it is regarded as a prized medicinal plant by Native people in the Southwest and Mexico. The restrained sweetness, for a sweet traditional, allows a strong element of terroir to express itself in this unique mead via subtle notes of anise, banana crème pie and nutmeg.
