Espiga - Orange is my New Love

A new beer from our Farmhouse Espiga project. We squeeze the potential of our land and nearby with this new beer where the protagonists are the barrels, yeasts and eco orangesfrom our neighbors in Valencia. Orange is my new love is a blender of a must sour conditioned with oranges where a first lactic fermentation was carried out to obtain the desired acidity. Then we add the house yeast to do the alcoholic fermentation and also squeezed juice from the organic oranges to achieve the flavors of freshly squeezed orange. The other part of the blender is a Farmhouse must where there was spontaneous fermentation of the wild yeasts of the environment to achieve the funky notes of the farmhouses. In this must we add Cascade hops from Girona. The result is a 7-degree beer with an orange color accompanied by light carbonation with a fine bubble that makes it very pleasant on the palate. The funky notes in aroma from spontaneous fermentations predominate, notes from wood and followed by the notes of recently squeezed orange. Despite its high complexity it is a light and easy-to-drink beer ideal to enjoy an aperitif on a hot day. Maltes: Barley malt, Wheat malt and oat malt. Llúpols: Cascade Fruit: Eco Taronjes
