Beer description
ALGORITHMUSFREI - Double West Coast Red Ale.
Brewed and conceived together with Gerrit, aka @probierjunge on Instagram, for our 5-year anniversary. Gerrit is a good friend, not only a great beer activist, but also a Schalke fan, which fits quite well together.
Here we have a strong, yet surprisingly approachable Double West Coast Red Ale. A true classic among modern beer styles.
The malt base is reminiscent of a classic strong red beer - a bit more depth, a bit more body. In addition, there is a clear, modern hopping with Mosaic, Centennial, and Chinook, bringing citrus, light berry notes, pine, and a pleasant resinous quality into play.
Despite the 7.5%, the beer remains balanced: malty enough for character, hoppy enough for freshness - with a surprisingly good drinkability.
