Bottom fermented

Beer description
"Burning Hahn" is a classic Franconian smoked bock beer, brewed with bottom fermenting yeast, pale in color and consciously well-balanced. With around 20% smoked malt, it offers a pleasant, gentle smokiness that harmoniously blends into the malty body - not dominant, not intrusive, but round and easy to drink.
Hopped with traditional, regional Hallertauer varieties, the focus remains clearly on balance and drinkability. At 6.2% ABV, the "Burning Hahn" is strong enough to show depth, but far from being heavy. A bock that invites a second glass.
Brewed on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the "Day of the Fire" in the popular tavern "Zapfhahn" in Bamberg - jointly conceived and developed with the Zapfhahn team.
A perfect companion for a snack, hearty meals, roasts, smoked dishes, or simply as a Franconian pleasure moment with character.
