Beer description
Brewed for the opening of the orca.bar at Engelhardsgasse 7 in Nuremberg. A beer that perfectly captures the character of the bar – simple, regional, modern, approachable, yet with its own style.
The house beer is a pleasantly hoppy German Pale Ale, brewed and lightly dry-hopped with Saphir and Mandarina Bavaria – two noble hop varieties that provide fresh, slightly grassy, and subtly fruity notes. Fermented with the new "house beer" yeast from Lallemand, which gives the beer a gently rounded texture and a fine balance between malt and hops.
In the glass, it is golden-yellow and naturally cloudy, with a slight citrusy aroma, harmonious and smooth on the palate, and a nice hoppy finish.
Hops
Mandarina Bavaria aromatic hop, Saphir aromatic hop
