Orca - Swirl

SWIRL is a "classic" Raspberry Cheesecake Pastry Sour. A beer that reminds of creamy cheesecake with raspberries. Fruity, mild, sweet and slightly sour. Just like a dessert. Only liquid. The base is a pleasantly mild sour beer, fermented with a special yeast that lowers the pH and converts sugar into alcohol at the same time. This creates that typical soft acidity that doesn't come across as sharp, but remains round and approachable. In addition, plenty of raspberries are added for fruitiness and freshness. Lactose provides a creamy sweetness that is not fermented by the beer yeast. Vanilla brings that warm, slightly doughy note that immediately evokes thoughts of cake. The result is an "alcoholic malt beverage based on beer" that beautifully balances between fruity, sweet and sour. Creamy in mouthfeel, soft in the finish, and simply delicious, raspberry, creamy cake-like taste and somehow also incredibly drinkable.
