Beer description
A strong, lighter amber color with a fine to medium-pored foam. Even if the foam is nice and stable - if it disappears slowly, it sticks well to the glass. In the nose a hop aroma with subtle spicy and slightly floral notes without displacing the present malt notes. The initial taste confirms the first impression of the nose, a very strong malt aroma that bears the typical signature of the nutty, full-bodied notes of the melanoidin malt used. The hops also announce their presence with a fine bitterness in the taste. Very balanced, full-bodied in taste and with a very restrained but extremely well-fitting carbonation, which only tingles a little at the tip of the tongue for a moment, but is otherwise very Viennese. Despite the strong malt body, the “Wiener Original” remains very tasty and easy to drink. The finish is then much more bitter than expected, the malty tones briefly make room for bitter hop notes, which in the further course leave a malty, hoppy aftertaste on the tongue and on the palate.

Malziges klassisches Wiener Original
Ein echtes Original

Ottakringer präsentiert hier sein Wiener Original, das den Geschmack von vielen trifft und auch treffen soll. Es hat einen leichter Malzgeschmack und ist dabei noch sehr süffig.
Tolle Stadt , tolles Bier
