Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
In the past, seaweed was harvested off the coast of Texel for maintaining dikes, insulating houses, and filling mattresses. Now, that salty harvest is directly processed into this beer. The result is a straw-yellow Saison with a fresh scent of citrus and sea. The taste is spicy, slightly bitter, and above all deliciously fresh. The saltiness of the seaweed comes back pleasantly in the aftertaste.
