Beer description
A barrel-aged offering, Bourbon Barrel Imperial Reserve spent a year in a blend of Four Roses, and Woodford Double Oak Bourbon Barrels. A chewy Imperial Stout base brewed specifically for barrel-aging results in a dense, complex malt profile which carries the bourbon elements perfectly. Notes of toasted oak and whiskey soaked chocolate on the tongue, with an ever-present roastiness and syrupy bourbon heat on the nose.
