Beer description

With little foam, the Paumell de Noël has a dark amber colour tending towards brown, with red highlights. The nose is reminiscent of mulled wine, a drink particularly appreciated at Christmas time. There are hints of spices, particularly cinnamon, and honey. A successful bet in relation to the name of the beer. Then come notes of cereals and brown sugar. You can also smell notes of orange peel and a little yeast. On the palate, the Paumell de Noël aims at just the right amount of sweetness and spices. With a nice length in the mouth, you can even detect orange aftertastes. When it is aerated and warms up, we feel the alcohol slightly more, which adds power and body to the beer to warm us up, ideal for winter evenings. The only dark side is that we found it slightly too sweet, but this is a comment we regularly make against beers of this type.
