A Belgian Dark Strong Ale with the addition of chestnuts from Trás dos Montes. Goes well with spicy, rich foods, coffee and chocolate desserts. Belgian abbey-style. Characterised by its high alcohol content, the flavours of the malts and caramel and the softness of the body provided by the chestnut. A strong beer with contrasts reminiscent of the lands of Trás-os-Montes, with a dark copper colour and a soft aroma of dried fruit, biscuits and toast. The palate is sweet, full-bodied, generous/alcoholic, harmonious and the aftertaste has subtle notes of caramel, biscuit and a slight smokiness from the roasted chestnuts. Undoubtedly a reference to be savoured, always with Soul. Extra beer.
