Beer description
This mead is a case study in Stone Fruits, a broad family of fruits with a stone or a pit inside.
For this medley we used organic honey by way of Brazil, added red plums from Chile, apricots from Turkey, yellow peaches from Georgia, dark sweet cherries from Michigan and tart cherries from Wisconsin.
Fermented with a blend of yeasts used for high intensity Shiraz and Pinotage and then gently aged it on a bit of oak and subsequently in Peach Brandy barrels for 12 months.
