Beer description
Phentex Mauve is a sour beer made with New World hops and blackcurrants from Verger des Tourterelles. This wheat beer stands out for its tangy taste, blackcurrant aromas and low bitterness. The acidity of this beer comes from a 24-hour lactic fermentation of the wort (sour wort). The New Zealand hops used, Nelson Sauvin and Wakatu, contain the molecule 4MMP, whose aroma accentuates the blackcurrant flavour added to this beer. In short, a 'molecular' beer with local and exotic flavours.
