Pinetree Brewing - Choco Porter

Dark coloured like starless night, smooth and elegant, with hints of chocolate and coconut in the aftertaste. For this version of our American Porter, we added crushed cocoa beans and toasted coconut chips to complement and enhance the chocolate flavour already present from dark malt. Austrian Magnum hops together with some roasted barley give this beer a pleasant bitterness. A nice alternative to dark lager or dark beer, Choco Porter is an ideal accompaniment to game ragouts, grilled mushrooms or chocolate desserts.
