Beer description
American Pale But where cold hopping was used twice. Tzv. double dry hopping - in addition to the more common cold hopping method - hops are added at the end of fermentation during the lying phase, when the hop essential oils are slowly extracted into beer. At this stage, the aromatic substances are not only extracted but, at the same time, due to the yeast metabolism, reactions and new substances are formed. This provides a much more complex hop profile. The beer has a light golden color, higher medium bitterness and a distinct hop aroma with tones of citrus and tropical fruit (pomelo, grapefruit, mango). We used a combination of Czech hop variety Kazbek and American Citra and Mosaic. EPM 12,5%
