Beer description
This historical style of beer consists of 100% oak-smoked wheat malt, which we were unable to purchase, so we smoked our own malted wheat on oak chips according to the specifications of Browar Grodzisk. We brewed the beer as close to the original recipe as possible, prepared water close in composition, four-pause mashing, added Lublin hops for two-hour boiling and fermented the wort with the original yeast strain.
The result was a very light table beer, straw-yellow in colour, with high carbonation and a dense foamy cap. The pronounced but unobtrusive smoky flavour and aroma is complemented by a delicate bitterness of Lublin hops
