This is a new beer style that was created in 2017 in San Francisco at the Social Kitchen & Brewery. It is very fermented, dry (hence the name brut, derived from French dry sparkling wine) extremely hopped, but not bitter IPA. Almost zero residual extract makes the beer refreshing and very drinkable. But beware, it also has a higher alcohol content!
