Beer description
Nose has aromas of fresh pine, spruce, and cedar. There are fruity ale ester aromas. The aroma of pine resin and the slightly astringent aroma of curing epoxy is also present hinting at the type of hop flavors present in the palate. Mouthfeel is medium with moderate carbonation. Palate has flavors of bread crusts, pretzels, and toast. There are light biscuity flavors as well. Hop flavors are pine sap, plant sap, grassy, green leaf referencing spruce tips and crushed geranium leaves. There is a background of citrus referencing lemon zest and the tang of lemon oil. Spicy flavors are fresh herbs with cilantro, Thai basil, and parsley being most obvious. Finish is medium with a sappy bitter.
