Pollyanna Brewing - Fruhauf

The today's restaurant La Dolce Vita in Lemont was built in 1871 and once housed the Charles Fruhauf Store. Charles Fruhauf, a German immigrant, built his store from Lemont limestone (Athens Marble) and his general store was a staple in Lemont in the late 1800s. The brewery has brewed this Oktoberfest as a tribute to him and the beautiful building that has been preserved to this day. This clean, malty and just dry enough brewed Lager beer in Märzen style should be enjoyed in the best leather shorts or dirndl while eating giant pretzels in an endless beer garden.
