Beer description

"Leeze" translates as bicycle. The name of the mixed beer drink from Pott's brewery comes from the "Masematte", the third language of Münsterland besides High German and Westphalian Platt. The language was predominantly used in trade and business, as well as in pubs. The men made use of it in a kind of secret language. It came into being in the middle of the 19th century and many words still characterise the language of the people living here today.
