Beer description
This Pre-Prohibition Lager was brewed using all American ingredients. Sticking to brewer’s recipes prior to Prohibition, we used only American ingredients: 6-row and 2-row barley from Indiana, hops from Michigan, and American corn grits. We performed a traditional “cereal mash” to gelatinize the sugars in the grits to make them fermentable. Dangerously quaffable, a smooth body with a touch of earthiness in the hop character.
