Precarious Beer Project - Everywhere You Look There's Something

Inspired by a friend’s existentially profound exclamation during their first Virtual Reality video game experience, this beer is a nod to the sweet and sour aged brown beers from the Flanders region of Belgium. We used Dutch and Belgian malts and soured in the kettle with our kimchi culture, then added Bergamot and a kiss of Czech hops to the whirlpool, then fermented with our favorite Belgian ale strain. Aromas of Earl Grey tea, peaberry coffee, raisins, dates, and figs that lead to flavors of the same along with a floral perfume and slightly toasted oatmeal raisin cookies. Brightly tart but sweet and robust, a perfect introduction to fall and one of our most unique Belgian-style creations to date
