Beer description
Coffee Hefeweizen. The first beer from our newest brewer, Megan, this hefe is incredible on its own. Malted and unmalted wheat, German Pilsner malt, flaked wheat, and a triple mash rest regimen made for a silky and flavorful body. Classic German Wheat yeast gives us huge banana and tropical fruit esters with a touch of vanilla. We sourced some incredible Rwandan coffee from Rogue Elephant coffee in Hampton and cold steeped whole beans in the beer for 48 hours. The result is flavors not unlike Megan’s daily breakfast of a cup of coffee and a banana. Complex, unique and surprisingly delightful
