Precarious Beer Project - Morally Ambiguous

Yes you read that right, 17% ABV. We brewed this monster with 100% Simpson's Golden Promise malt, and no adjuncts or sugars were added. Fermented with a high gravity British yeast and we added an extra enzyme to help the fermentation along. The result is an exceptionally dry Barleywine that drinks like a young, neat Rye Bourbon. Lots of bright, aromatic fruit in the nose and plenty of clean, warm alcohol in the palate. Finishes snappy, a bit spicy and begs to be explored again.
