Precarious Beer Project - Ritual Misery

An American Barleywine aged for 10 months in a mix of Willet Bourbon barrels and a Madeira finishing cask that had previously been used to create spirits for Blackened, the American whiskey brand created by Metallica. From its time spent within the confines of this twisted oak it has transformed the beer into a decadent drinking experience erupting with notes of dark red fruit, cinnamon, cocoa nibs, dark toffee, sweet oak, and fig jam. Finishes semi dry and warm with a touch of oak tannins, and nothing else matters.
