Precarious Beer Project - Skibbereen

Imperial Irish Stout - A chance online encounter led to this collaboration with Lough Gill Brewing out of Sligo, Ireland. We jokingly refer to it as our Tinder collab; however we did talk to them the next day and plan to see each other again. Built on a base of Irish Pale Ale malt from Loughran Family Malt, we selected the best UK caramel and roasted malts, added some oats and fermented with a blend of UK and US yeasts. Incredibly rich character, full of milk chocolate and mocha, with supporting hints of raisin and toast. Creamy yet balanced and entirely too easy to drink.
