Beer description
Nut Brown Ale with Butternut Squash and Sweet Potatoes.
One of our favorite local growers, Dayspring Farm is a constant source of inspiration for us, as they produce wonderful produce that fits the local season. We acquired beautiful butternut squash and sweet potatoes and roasted them in our kitchen to carmelly perfection. We then mashed them with pale ale malt and a mix of British and Belgian Specialty malts for a light toasted bread character and toffee sweetness. Fermented warm with a classic English Ale yeast for rich aromas of red fruit and carbonated only enough to bring out the creamy mouthfeel and malt sweetness. Drinks like it feels when you sit in a puffy chair in the corner of an ancient British Pub and read a leather bound book while wearing a red velvet robe.
