Beer description
Belgian Saison with Peaches and African Blue Basil.
There is a certain threshold where things become strange and uncomfortable. The key to innovation is to find that threshold and ride the line. Strange but beautiful; foreign but familiar enough to relate to. This Belgian Saison does just that, with 200lbs of Virginia Peaches processed in house and locally grown African Blue Basil added post fermentation. Belgian Pilsner malt and German wheat, with a highly expressive saison yeast strain combine to create a dry, soft, fluffy, aromatic beer with ethereal and subtle peach notes and a lingering, haunting basil character that stays with you long after the sip. There is lots to explore in this culinary-inspired Saison.
