Ratta Jessie White

The poet Carducci described it as follows: "Democracy counts only one social writer: and he is an Englishman, and he is a woman; Mrs. Jessie White, who never lacks where there is to suffer or to dare for a noble cause". Jessie White, wife of Alberto Mario, was one of the most important figures of our Risorgimento. Generous and strong-willed, she was one of the first shining examples of female emancipation. We dedicate to this English woman, who loved Italy more than herself, our first "white beer" which, like her, is both sweet and spicy. In Jessie White the nose is dominated by herbaceous and cereal notes with a light spice; in the mouth it is very drinkable and with a light body. There are hints of wheat and slight hints of sweet orange peel, the finish leaves a slight taste of pink pepper on the palate.
