Beer description
1942. The Italian Alpini fight against the "Winter General" in Russia, out of 55 thousand Alpini who left 35 thousand die from the cold. In Bepi De Marzo's song, Joska is the Russian woman who has compassion for these men, thousands of kilometres away from home, a candid memory of consolation for all the Alpini engaged in fighting a senseless war. Joska is sister, mother, morose, she replaces these women to relieve pain, melancholy and loneliness. Joska has amber reflections and a strong, fruity scent. An initial hint of white fruit is then taken up by yellow fruit and malty notes. In the mouth the sweet base of malt and fruit is immediately corrected by the hops that balance everything in a harmonious and persistent finish.
