The goddess Jurate is a popular character in the folklore of the Baltic countries. She is often depicted as a mermaid living in an amber palace at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. It is the legend of the love of Jurate and the simple fisherman Kastitis that explains the abundance of amber in the Baltic Sea - the thunder god Perkunas tried to prevent the lovers and destroyed the amber palace of Jurate. So now, after storms, fragments of amber cover the seashore. Our porter is a match for the harsh Baltic Sea. It is strong, warming and has shades of chocolate with wine notes. And a few kilograms of ginger gave a pleasant piquancy that warmly accompanies you on the aftertaste.
