Beer description
Slightly cloudy golden yellow in the glass, with aromas of pineapple, fine spices and fruity apples. On the palate there is a mild acidity, apples, pineapple and a hint of winter spices. Viva La Pineapple is a blend of fermented apple juice from eastern Washington and unfermented fresh pineapple juice. Seasoned with cinnamon, cloves and allspice. The result of this cider is a personal tragedy by Reverend Nat. On a trip to the ten-year meeting of the Scriblerus Society in Puntarenas, when the Reverend was enjoying a Chichia Panama on the sundeck of a tramp-hammock with Professor Laurence Draper, the two were surprised by a monster wave, capsized and washed ashore on a tiny island. Over the next six days with the professor on the island, they lived on cashews and pineapples until the two of Captain Don Pedro, on whose Jangada Snickersnack were rescued. Reverend's short-term residence on the Isla del Cano was not without its profit, because he understood this wonderfully profound fruit, the pineapple.
