Five thousand years ago women brewers were more common than male brewers. Although nowadays female brewers are the exception rather than the rule, women wielding mash paddles and wearing brewing boots are on the rise. Go for it! Don't let the pink label fool you-this DIPA is brewed with New England-style yeast, Simcoe, Galaxy and a 5-hop blend designed by Pink Boots that gives this beer a big hop presence. A portion of proceeds from this brew will be donated to Pink Boots Society for scholarships to assist women in the industry to expand their skills and knowledge. Salute ladies...and gentlemen!
