The American hop Simcoe - combined with the two aroma hops Hallertauer and Mandarina Bavaria - not only gives this brewing specialty its name. The hop triad also provides the aroma of elderberry, apricot and mango. Simco 3 is a chestnut-red India Pale Ale, as it was brewed in England for the Crown Colonies in the 19th century.
