La Saracena recalls the Kölsch style, a beer traditionally produced in Cologne and in the neighboring region. It is a style of German top-fermented beer. Its color is golden and contains on average 4.8-5% alcohol; it has a slightly fruity and slightly bitter taste. In Germany it is said that it is "the only language that is spoken and drunk" since the Cologne dialect, in German, is also called Kölsch. La Saracena is a perfect interpretation of the Kölsch style.
