Brouwerij Bavo - Rozendaal Blonde

In the 17th century, the Rozendaal Abbey had twenty-two farms, two windmills and even an ice cellar, the oldest in the country. In 1794 the French army settled in the Abbey and the last monks were expelled. The French destroyed the curch and most monastic buildings such as the bakery and brewery.
