R.Shea Brewing - Rubber City Red

This ale is the result of more than two years of recipe development. I wanted an amber color with lots of roasted malt and enough hops to balance that with a tiny bit of roasted aroma. It's meant to be a light, medium-alcohol beer to drink by the fire when the air is slightly chilly. This beer has seen the most recipe changes of all my beers. What started as a recipe with just two grains is now a refined product with six different grains... and it's even amber in color. Delicious!
