Beer description
We aged our Organic Chocolate Porter in Columbian Rum barrels for 3 months. The Columbian rum is generally lighter in character than those from other places in the world, and impart flavors of banana, dates and raisins along with vanilla. These flavors highlight the more fruity character of the Theo Organic Cocoa nibs used in the porter.
The Chocolate Porter isn't as heavy and strong of a beer as Fauntleroy and Portside, so this makes for a "lighter" barrel-aged offering
